Open Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
On the left side of the page, note the column that contains folders. One area will be called Favorites and another will have your name on it.

Click on your own name to highlight (select) and right click for the main folder menu. Choose to Create New Folder....

A blank folder will appear. This folder will need to be named. Simply type the name that you wish to appear on the folder. Keep in mind that once you log out and log back in again, your folders will appear in alphabetical order.

Use special characters such an astric to bring a folder to the top of the list.

Remember that you can put folders inside other folders using the same method. Simply right click on the top folder level and use the Create New Folder... link. When a folder has other folders inside, you will see the tiny triangle in front of the folder. Click on the triangle to reveal the other folders. (See image above.)

You may also wish to place the folder in your Favorites List. A favorite is simply an alias of a folder that is shown in the favorites list for easier access. Right click on any folder or subfolder to access the main menu. In the main menu, find and click Add to Favorites.

This folder will now appear at the top of your left folder column under the Favorites list as well as still showing up under your name in the list. The actual folder resides under your name however, it is now assessable using the favorites list.
